The Coming Division (Part 1)

division is happening within the church. The pope is calling all people of the world to gather under his umbrella for a one world religion. The bishop, Tony Palmer, assumes the role of his spokesperson.

All of those who call themselves Christian are dividing into two camps: those who follow the pope and those who follow Christ. The goats will follow another shepherd while the sheep will follow the True Shepherd.

Many have fallen prey already. Among others, Bill Hybels (Willow Creek), Rick Warren (Purpose Driven Life), Kenneth Copeland (TV preacher), Brian Houston (Hillsong) and the officials of the Lutheran and Methodist churches have signed on enthusiastically with the pope.

This is the spirit of the age: antichrist. It is calling you.

Charmingly. Logically. Seductively.

This is where the rubber of your faith meets the road of life.

Nick Ripkin testifies that obedience to Christ is insanity to the world, and to our human understanding. His testimonies of obedience and loving his persecutors are profound and exemplary in his books, The Insanity of God and The Insanity of Obedience.

To the world it must seem truly insane for a peculiar group of people to refuse to join the “miracle of unity” of supposed “world peace” that is taking place.

“What is wrong with them?” they ask.

What’s wrong with us is something they cannot understand, that we are aliens to this fallen world and its global agenda. The Father of Lights has redeemed us from its darkness. There is no going back.

The world persecuted Christ. The world continues to persecute those who follow Christ. There is nothing new under the sun.

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;

John 15:20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.
